Harry has aged up to be a beautiful toddler. He looks exactly like me, his eyes especially. So now both Leighton and I have little clones of ourselves. I certainly don't know where our boys are getting their beautiful brown hair from.
We've set about teaching him all the essential skills and he's already getting the hang of them. I think he's going to be clever just like his big brother. He was potty trained within two days, the clever little guy. He seems fascinated by that weird old doll that he was sent, if ever there's a free moment, he's playing with it or singing to it.
More work has been done on the house recently. A room has been added on the side and we've moved the TV and stereo are in here for now so we can use them once Harry has gone to bed. It's a nice little retreat which will eventually become our main living room.
Seeing Harry as a toddler really makes me feel old, it seems like only a few weeks ago that I was pregnant. I don't feel as old as poor Leighton though who has just aged up into an elder. He's still very active and great with the kids but he gets tired more quickly. I'd like him to retire but he says we don't have the money.
Everything is growing. The house, the kids, my husband. One thing that is not growing is my career. I had to leave and re-join because they've messed up the paperwork. Thanks to that I've dropped two levels and my pay has dropped significantly. I still love my job though.
