Teaching Ben to walk and talk was a breeze, he seems to be a clever little lad. I'm sure a great deal of his intelligence is due to using that peg box of his for so many hours on end. He mastered that and his xylophone really quickly so I bought him a toy box with two toy monsters, a sheep and a rabbit. He likes the monsters best! That day I took him to the park was also my birthday. I was picking apples when I aged up into a fully grown adult. I feel so old now, but I guess in theory I'm only one day older than I was yesterday.
Something else I must tell you about is me and Leighton. We're falling in love again, but for real this time, no juice whatsoever. I must admit I've always had feelings for him and I think he's always liked me too. He's just such a nice person, not a bad trait about him, I don't see why he likes evil old me so much.
He comes to see Ben but mostly I get all of the attention. We spent most of one night just dancing and then I maybe gave him a little kiss goodbye. I hope things work out this time around, Ben would benefit from having his father around the house.
