Though we weren't in a rush to tie the knot, Kathleen and I wanted to check out some potential venues for our big day. We considered having it at the theatre or even in central park, but eventually came across this little hidden gem. It is called Wedding Central and is out on its own in the vast countryside. Atop a hill, it also has a great view.
There is plenty of space inside for guests and the archway is nicely positioned. Kathleen fell in love with the décor and everything about the insides, but I preferred the outside area.
There is less space for guests but we're not inviting tons of people, only family and close friends. I liked the arch and the greenery around me. Kathleen and I will have to decide on inside or out!
The venue even has an outdoors reception area with a bar, music player and benches. I have to admit that it's not the most exciting reception area we saw, but it's the sort of thing I like. Quiet and personal.
So Kath and I chose Wedding Central to be our venue, we still haven't settled on a date yet though.
That night I took Kathleen out for a nice meal at the bistro. We talked a lot about the wedding. Kathleen wanted it sooner since she'd seen the venue. It was lovely, us together, me eating vegetarian fish and chips and Kath munching a key lime pie. Little did I know, it was soon to become the worst night of my life.
